The inaugural AMX Esports Championship in South Korea has begun, and with 6 rounds of the 18 race series complete, the battle for South Korea’s most prestigious sim racing title thus far has just started.
Most recently, the AMX Esports Championship hosted South Korean sim racers, influencers and real racing drivers at the Afreeca Colosseum in Seoul. The first of three live events at the state-of-the-art venue was a success, with the 60 racers competing on 20 Next Level Racing F-GT Cockpits. “I’m very delighted and thankful that the first offline event of the AMX ESPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP was successfully completed. I believe this is the result of all the continuous efforts our participants, Next Level Racing, and employees have brought forth”, said John Lee (CEO of Automanix)
The race for the 2021 AMX Esports Championship title will conclude on 26th August, where we will see the champion being awarded the prize of 1 Bitcoin. “It makes me extremely proud that the Korean public has begun to recognize and gain interest in sim-racing through everyone’s combined efforts.
